New on Allium: March 2025

March brought another month of shipping new products and optimizing existing ones. Our team deployed support for six additional blockchain networks (including Hyperliquid), shipped Token Prices & NFT APIs, and more. These updates reflect our commitment to delivering the industry’s fastest, highest-quality blockchain data infrastructure. Read on for the highlights of what we've shipped this past month.

Increased chain support

Six additional blockchain networks are now available on Allium: Hyperliquid, HyperEVM, Monad Testnet, Dogecoin, EDU Chain, and Everclear.

Additionally, real-time API support has been added for 6 additional blockchain networks: Abstract, Berachain, Sei, Apechain, BSC, and Monad Testnet.

Further ingestion and enrichment is underway for Slingshot, Injective, Celestia, and Thorchain.

For a full list of all 80+ of our supported chains, see our real-time and historical data documentation.

Real-time expansion & upgrades

Balances API

Our Balances API is now 800ms faster (reduced from 3.8s to 3s). When benchmarked against competitors, Allium is consistently faster to surface new balances by hundreds of milliseconds on average.

Prices API

Allium now computes and delivers an in-house real-time Token Prices data via API, reducing reliance on third-party prices providers. Customers have previously identified industry-wide discrepancies in token prices (particularly memecoins) which caused errors in end-user asset calculations. For example, traditional price providers wouldn’t update fast enough to accurately track long-tail tokens that experienced sudden surges in popularity. Now, customers can enjoy greater confidence in using Allium to query both latest and historical prices in real-time for any token.

NFT APIs

With SimpleHash sunsetting on March 27, teams needed a quick and simple transition to a new blockchain data provider. We immediately built and shipped a NFT API solution with the same core functionalities as SimpleHash which is now used by customers like MetaMask.

Solana

Allium can now deliver complete historical Solana transaction activities and balances (from the genesis block) via API. Solana is notoriously one of the most challenging chains to index, given its unique edge cases which require highly specialized parsing techniques. As of today, Allium is the only data provider that supports this endpoint. And Allium does so with sub-second latency.

Our Transaction Activities API now supports 1) DEX Trades for Solana and 2) SPL transfers, enriching API responses with token metadata.

Teams can now stream post-trade liquidity data via our Solana DEX Trades Datastream – supported for major DEXs like Raydium.

New schemas (feat. Hyperliquid, Lending)

We now offer support for Hyperliquid, including Raw Trades, DEX Trades, Raw Tokens, Asset Transfers:

Our new Lending schema covers lending events including deposits, withdrawals, loans, repayments, and liquidations across major protocols like Aave, Morpho Blue, and Compound. Teams can now track supply and borrowing rates across specific assets, monitor outstanding loans, and analyze liquidation patterns - all with transaction-level granularity. For EVM chains, use (evm_chain.lending.<events> and evm_chain.lending.interest_rates). Solana lending support includes Kamino and MarginFi protocols.

We’ve also shipped new schemas for Abstract, Apechain, Aptos, Arbitrum, Arbitrum Sepolia, Avalanche, B3, Base, Berachain, Crosschain, Defillama, Ethereum, Fantom, Fraxtal, Gnosis, Hedera, Holesky, Hyperliquid, IMX zkEVM, Ink, Kinto, Linea, Mantle, Mode, Monad Testnet, Oasys, Optimism, Osmosis, Polygon zkEVM, Proof of Play Apex, Proof of Play Boss, Provenance, Ronin, Rootstock, Sanko, Scroll, Sei, Solana, Soneium, Sonic, Superposition, Sui, TON, Tron, Unichain, and Zora.

Reports: Allium, Paradigm, Bloomberg, Grayscale

Allium

Bybit, the world’s second-largest exchange by trading volume, recently suffered the largest crypto hack in history. On February 21, 2025, North Korea’s Lazarus Group stole $1.46 billion in Ethereum tokens from Bybit and immediately began laundering the funds to cash out. Our data wizards analyzed cross-chain DeFi & DEX activity to shed light on how the attackers obscured the flow of funds. Allium x Paradigm

Research-driven crypto investment firm Paradigm worked with Allium to write “TradFi Tomorrow: DeFi and the Rise of Extensible Finance”, their report on TradFi’s growing interest and involvement in DeFi.

Allium x Bloomberg

Financial news provider Bloomberg used Allium’s data to power stablecoin insights for “Trump’s World Liberty Enters the Fray in Crypto’s Hottest Sector”, an article in their crypto newsletter.

Allium x Grayscale

Crypto-focused asset manager Grayscale used Allium’s data to power stablecoin insights for “Progress, Potholes, and Opportunity”, their February market commentary.
